A papier mache accent

I made this boat following the instructions on Ann Wood's site.  She is fab, an ecclectic mixed media artist that I find really inspiring.  The boat is a place for Tatiana to reside.

This is not the best camera, but I prefer blogging with images so I expect to be around.  Anyway I have to share my adventures in papier mache.

Boy that post is late

Not the actual post as I have no complaints about the Royal Mail.  I mean this here posting I be doing as of right now which is waymundo late.

Gosh life has real bad habit of getting in the way.  Cups of tea with dripping wet, never to work again, digital cameras don't help the old blogging thing either.  Sorry still  no pics of the most recent makes yet.

So what have I been up to?  My fingers have been really icky.  I have been playing around with paper mache or papier mache  (it depends where you are as to which phrase you will prefer).  At the moment I am preoccupied with paper stuck to cardboard  (corrugated and regular cardstock) that I have been preparing  for collage.

I hear all those hmmms  out there and know you are curious.  I think over the next few days the camera situation will be resolved so if you want to play along with me in the new adventures of paper mache for stage one you will need newspaper, brown paper (the kind you use for sandwhich bags) and regular card stock and the corrugated kind craft glue a wide brush you don't love too much and some patience.

Get your stash prepared for play and don't forget to come back for your templates and step by step how tos.

Just how deep does the rabbit hole go?
